━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
What makes this program different from a regular summer camp?
P2P combines fun summer activities with deeper support. Youth are not just participating in activities. They are building confidence, learning life skills, developing social skills, receiving encouragement, and gaining access to therapeutic support if needed.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
What kinds of activities will children do?
Activities may include art, group games, outdoor play, reading and learning activities, guided discussions, team projects, leadership activities, life skills, character building, creative projects, and social emotional learning activities.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Will meals be provided?
Meals and snacks may be provided during the program day. More details about meals, snacks, and any food requirements will be shared with families during the registration process.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Is this a therapy program or a summer camp?
P2P Youth Summer Program is a summer enrichment program. However, therapeutic support may be available through Restoring the Spirit for youth and families who need additional emotional, behavioral, or mental health support.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
How does therapy fit into the schedule?
If a child is receiving services through Restoring the Spirit, therapy may be scheduled during the day or week based on the child’s needs and service plan. This may include individual therapy sessions, emotional check ins, coping skills practice, or guided support. The goal is to support the child without making them feel separated or singled out.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Will my child still participate in regular activities if they receive therapy services?
Yes. Children receiving therapy services can still participate in regular program activities. Therapy support is meant to strengthen their experience, not take them away from it.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Do all children have to receive therapy services?
No. Therapy services are not required for every child. Some families may only want the summer program, while others may be interested in additional support through Restoring the Spirit.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Can insurance be used for therapy services?
Therapy services through Restoring the Spirit may be available through insurance. Families who are interested can receive more information after submitting the basic information form.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Do I need to provide insurance information on the basic form?
No. The basic form is only for parent and child information. If insurance information is needed later, a team member will contact you privately with next steps.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Does submitting the form guarantee my child is enrolled?
No. Submitting the form is the first step. A team member will review your information and contact you with next steps. Enrollment is not confirmed until your registration has been reviewed and approved.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
What happens after I submit the form?
After you submit the form, someone from the P2P team will review your information and contact you with next steps. You may receive more information about availability, scheduling, consent forms, therapy options, and required documents.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Who should complete the form?
A parent or legal guardian should complete the form for the child.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Is this program good for children who are shy, anxious, energetic, or need extra support?
Yes. P2P is designed to support children with different personalities, strengths, and needs. Parents are encouraged to share anything that would help our team better understand and support their child.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
What should parents share about their child?
Parents can share their child’s interests, personality, allergies, medical concerns, learning needs, emotional needs, behavior support needs, or anything that would help the team provide better care.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Will parents receive updates?
Families may receive communication from the team as needed. Our goal is to keep parents informed and supported throughout the process.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Who do I contact with questions?
Parents can use the contact form to ask questions about the summer program, registration, therapy services through Restoring the Spirit, raffle opportunities, donations, or community partnerships.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
What is the main goal of the program?
The main goal is to help youth feel safe, supported, encouraged, and empowered. P2P wants every child to leave with more confidence, stronger connections, and a greater sense of purpose.
