Welcome to the P2P Youth Summer Program Page!
Our summer program is designed to give children a safe, structured, and supportive place to learn, play, grow, socialize, and receive care throughout the summer.
Children will have opportunities to participate in activities, build confidence, practice regulation skills, enjoy meals and snacks, connect with peers, and receive support from trained staff.
The P2P Youth Summer Program will run from June 1st through July 24th.
Our program is located in Loganville, Georgia and is designed to give children a safe, structured, and supportive summer experience filled with care, activities, connection, and growth.
Operating hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Child drop off begins at 9:00 AM and pick up is at 5:00 PM.
Meals, snacks, and treats will be provided when available through the food program.
Children may also bring their own personal lunch if families prefer.
Parents and guardians should inform staff about:
✦ Food allergies
✦ Medical food restrictions
✦ Dietary needs
✦ Religious or cultural food needs
✦ Texture concerns
✦ Foods the child should not have
We want children to feel cared for throughout the day, and that includes making sure their food needs are understood.
P2P Youths may provide program items for participating children, including:
✦ Program shirts
✦ Water bottles
✦ Program bags
✦ Meals when available
✦ Snacks and treats
Children are still welcome to bring their own bag if they prefer.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to send children with items that help them stay comfortable throughout the day.
Children may bring:
✦ Their own bag
✦ Extra clothing
✦ Extra shoes for outdoor play
✦ A personal lunch if needed
✦ Any approved comfort item discussed with staff
For younger children, extra clothing and shoes are strongly recommended in case of spills, accidents, outdoor play, or unexpected messes.
If the program includes a field trip or off site activity, parents and guardians will be informed ahead of time.
Permission slips will be required before any child can attend a trip or off site activity.
Families will receive details about the trip, location, time, expectations, and anything the child may need to bring.
No child will attend an off site activity without parent or guardian permission.

Children will enjoy a mix of indoor activities, outdoor activities, creative projects, themed days, and special outings.
Camp experiences can include aquarium trips, swimming pool days, park days, zoo visits, farm visits, growing plants, arts and crafts, outdoor play, movie days, themed clothing days, group games, and hands on projects.
Movie days will connect with camp themes so children can have fun while still learning, reflecting, and participating in meaningful conversations.
Growing plants will give children a chance to care for something, practice patience, and watch progress happen slowly over time. Little life lesson in a flower pot. Very cute, very healing.
When field trips or water activities are scheduled, parents will receive details ahead of time. Permission slips will be required before any child attends an off site activity.

Therapy support will be part of the program experience without taking away from the joy of camp.
Eligible children will have carved out time for individual therapy once a week. This gives each child private time with clinical staff to work on their personal needs, coping skills, emotions, behavior, confidence, communication, and growth.
Children will still participate in camp activities before and after their individual therapy time. Therapy is not meant to isolate them. It is meant to support them.
Group therapy will also take place weekly and will give children a guided space to practice social skills, emotional awareness, teamwork, self control, communication, and healthy ways to express themselves.
The beauty of this setup is that children can learn skills in therapy, then practice those skills during real camp moments like games, art, group activities, meals, and peer interactions.

Each child will have a cubby for their personal belongings.
Children can use their cubby for their bag, extra clothes, extra shoes, lunch, water bottle, and approved personal items. This helps keep the space organized and gives each child a small place that belongs to them during the day.
P2P Youths will provide program shirts, water bottles, and bags. Children are still welcome to bring their own bag.
Parents should send extra clothing and extra shoes for outdoor play, especially for younger children.

This summer, P2P Youths is introducing a buddy system to help children practice getting along with others in a safe and guided way.
The buddy system will give children opportunities to build friendships, work as a team, use kind words, respect boundaries, include others, and solve small problems with staff support.
Children will never be responsible for supervising each other. Staff will guide the buddy system so it stays safe, fair, and encouraging.
The goal is simple: help children learn how to connect with others while still feeling supported by adults.

Cellphone Policy
Cellphones will be restricted for children during program hours.
This helps children stay engaged, focused, safe, and connected with the people and activities around them.
If a parent or guardian needs to reach their child during the day, staff contact information will be provided.
Parent Communication
Parents and guardians will be provided with staff contact information.
Families may reach out with questions, updates, concerns, or important information about their child.
Photos and updates may be shared through email, the program site, or other approved communication spaces.
Parents will be informed about photo permissions and privacy before pictures are shared.
Our goal is to keep families connected while also protecting each child’s safety, privacy, and comfort.
We know cost is an important question for families, and we want parents to feel informed before moving forward.
The P2P Youth Summer Program works alongside therapy services provided through Restoring the Spirit, so cost is based on insurance coverage, eligibility, copays, deductibles, and service approval.
Before services begin, families will receive clear information about what is covered and what to expect.
